Project Overview
Clearing and Preparing the Site
We began by removing and stripping the worn grass and surface material around the failing roadway. This created a clean, controlled work area and allowed us to expose the sub-grade before rebuilding.
Regrading and Installing Certified Road Base
After opening the site, our crew graded the roadway footprint to establish the correct pitch for drainage and long-term stability. We delivered and installed certified road base material designed for high-traffic areas like school access roads. The team shaped and compacted the base in multiple passes to meet roadway construction standards and support daily bus, staff, and service vehicle traffic.
Precision Paving for Long-Term Performance
With the base prepared, we applied a 1.5 inch binder layer followed by a 1.5 inch top coat of asphalt. Using two paving lifts increases durability, reduces cracking, and creates a smooth, reliable surface that will serve the school for years.
